Professional Stylist, Co-OwnerJessica has been a stylist since1992, and a co-owner of 5th Avenue since 2003. She has held positions in upscale salons in PA and CA as educational director and stylist. She also spent 5 years teaching hair color to stylist for L'oreal professional. "I absolutely love doing hair and meeting with people, which is to say I love my Job! I especially love a challenge and corrective color is my specialty." Her newest focus is DevaCurl cutting and Pintura Highlighting.

Tiffany Melisauskas
Professional Stylist, Co-OwnerProfessional Stylist, Co-Owner Tiffany has been doing hair since 1993 and co-owner of 5th Avenue since 2003. Before opening at 5th Avenue she was a top stylist at one of Harrisburg's most recognized and accredited salons. Her goal is always to give her guests the best possible look for them through great haircuts and dimensional color. Tiffany loves a challenge so whether your hair is coarse and unruly, or straight and flat, she'll find a style and color that works for you and all in an upbeat, fun atmosphere.

Deanna Shenk
Professional StylistDeanna started at 5'th Avenue in December of 2018 as an assistant while she was attending Shear's School of Cosmetology. After obtaining her license Deanna worked hand in hand with Jessica McCoy throughout her training in the Associate's Program. She is now a fulltime hairstylist, Deva stylist and make up artist. To ensure staying up to date with the current trends Deanna enjoys attending several classes a year. Such classes include Deva curl, a specialty class for curly hair, and Redkin's Advanced cutting classes. She also trains with advanced color specialists frequently to provide the best color services. Deanna's passion lies in creating looks that help her guests feel beautiful and confidant. Whether it's a trendy balayage or a sultry smokey eye she loves to do it all! Her favorite thing about her job is the smile on guest's faces when they leave loving their new look.

Nicole McLaren
Professional StylistNicole became a licensed cosmetologist in 2012, and 2 years later also obtained her cosmetology teacher license. She began her career at 5'th Avenue in the associate program in September2019. During those first few months she received one on one training with Jessica McCoy. Each year she has furthered her education in advanced cutting and coloring techniques from leading experts in the industry. She is currently a level 3 stylist, and specializes in custom colors, balayage, and other dimensional color services. When she isn't working in the salon she loves being a wife and mom. Nights around the campfire with family and friends, and getting lost in a good book are her favorite pastimes.

Megan Maynard
Professional StylistMegan has been in the cosmetology industry since 2011and has loved every day of it! She graduated from CPAVTS cosmetology program with her license at the age of 17 and started her career right away. During her time as a stylist she has had a variety of experiences in different environments and specialties and has learned a lot along the way. Megan's favorite part of being a stylist is making people fees as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. She specializes in hand tied weft extension giving her clients the hair goals of their dreams!

Christina Carter
Professional StylistChristina joined our team in 2018 as the front desk manager, after 2 years of working at the salon she was inspired to enroll in cosmetology school and became licensed in 2021. Directly after graduating she worked in our salons associate program where she had further training in haircuts, color and guest services. Once she completed the program she rose to a level 3 stylist in less than a year, all while maintaining her management responsibilities at our salon. She has always had a passion for color services but specializes in blonding, like foilyage and highlights. She was also voted favorite stylist of Cumberland County in 2023! When Christina isn't working she enjoys spending time with her dog, checking out local restaurants and cooking. Favorite quote: Good, better, or best. Lexi Peck
Professional Stylist/Make Up ArtistLexi has been a member of our team since 2020. Her passion for the industry is driven by her guests confidence. Lexi enjoys providing custom coloring like blonding and grey coverage as well as hand tied and tape in extensions services. She also continues advanced education in bridal hair and makeup including training under celebrity make-up artist Hailee Clark, in Nashville. Her true talent and passion is providing bridal services on site and in the salon for a total dream look. She has been doing bridal and special effects makeup since she was 18 and has done several hundred on site bridal parties. Outside the salon Lexi likes to spend time with her family out in nature. Ashayna Barnette
Professional StylistAshayna joined the 5'th Avenue team in 2020. Once she finished school she began the associate program working one on one with Jessica McCoy. After6 months in the program she continued on to her own chair as a level 1 hairstylist and leveled up in 2022 to a level 2 stylist. While building her clientele she enjoyed custom coloring, advancing her hair cutting skills and gaining knowledge in extension methods. Now specializing in lived-in color and tape-in and hand tied weft extensions. In 2023 she was nominated to '''Cumberland County's Best Of" category. She's excited to keep her career growing by furthering her knowledge in extension methods to accommodate any and all hair types and textures while also finding classes to take her techniques to mastery level. When she's not behind the chair you'll find her being a mom to her son, Tannler Finnegan. She hopes to encourage moms to never forget about their own passions and to remember they can still take time for themselves too. She's excited to continue to take on new beautiful clients and is forever grateful for the clientele she has been able to build over the past 3 years. Christin Nygard
Professional StylistChristin graduated Shears cosmetology school in November 2021 and has been working in the industry ever since. Christin found her passion when she started experimenting with makeup as a child. She quickly became a self taught makeup artist doing bridal makeup for friends and family. Christin has a passion for creativity and uniqueness. She enjoys all fields of cosmetology but her favorite is hair, specifically blondes, dimensional brunettes and coppers. Spray tanning is also one of her favorite things to do. Christin enjoys expanding her knowledge with continuing education to give her clients the best services possible. She loves making her clients feel beautiful and confident. When she is outside the salon she loves doing arts and crafts, DIY projects, and spending time in nature.

Rylee Smith
AssociateRylee graduated from Shears cosmetology school in April of 2023 and is our newest associate. She became licensed in May 2022. She will be working as a stylist, and continuing to learn as many new services as she can. She loves learning new techniques and creating fun looks for our clients. Her favorite thing about being a stylist is making people feel like the best version of themselves. Some of her favorite things to do is special occasion hair such as bridal hair and prom up do's.
